I'm not going to apologize for my love of makeup, ever. Neither of us will and neither should you. My vice? Palettes.

I recently fell in love with Huda Beauty’s Obsessions palettes. They’re so tiny and cute but they pack a punch (not unlike my sister) and are perfect for EVERYTHING. Plus, I can't get behind one that doesn't come with a mirror (Why?! WHY!?) but these all do. Each palette has nine shades that are smooth, blendable, buildable and pigmented. To be honest, I just love swatching them over and over. Every single colour is beautiful. My everyday look is from the smokey set and I am itching to get my hands on the gemstones. Sephora...why are you always sold out!? Get it, girl. You won't be sorry.
Colour breakdown: Black: matte, smooth but delicate. The only one that broke in the pan. Some fallout.
Tan: the perfect transition shade, a bit powdery.
Gold-Brown: sparkly and smooth, works dry or wet.
Silver sparkle: chunky glitter that works best when wet. BOLD.
Brown sparkle: darker than it looks, blendable and very pigmented.
Gold sparkle: I try not to play favourites but this is my FAVOURITE. Dense, pigmented and looks great wet or dry. It lasts all day.
Dark brown: matte, buildable, perfect for the crease or to colour in eyebrows.
Coffee brown: soft, a bit dusty, buildable but doesn't fade.
Rose/champagne: soft, high shine, great wet or dry.
Below is a photo of my beautifully loved, smokey palette. It's SO loved in my house that my baby took mommy's shiny new toy and flug it across the room. Girl's got good taste.
